Cabo San Lucas: Your Dream Golf Destination

Cabo San Lucas, located at the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, is known for its stunning beaches, world-class dining, and exciting nightlife. But did you know that it’s also a golfer’s paradise? With its warm, sunny weather and breathtaking landscapes, Cabo San Lucas is a golfer’s paradise. Here’s a look at my top three golf resorts in CSL:

Cabo Del Sol

One of the most prominent courses in Cabo San Lucas is Cabo Del Sol, a Jack Nicklaus design. Cabo del Sol features two 18-hole courses, the Ocean Course and the Desert Course, which offer a unique and challenging experience. The Ocean Course is known for its expansive views of the Sea of Cortez and its challenging hazards, while the Desert Course lies in the shadow of the El Pedregal mountain range where you’ll face sloping fairways lined with bunkers.

Pro Tip: Bring a camera – you’ll want these views to last a lifetime!

Puerto Los Cabos

Nestled in a master-planned community on the East Cape, just a short drive from the historic downtown of San Jose del Cabo, Puerto Los Cabos offers a 27-hole golf resort experience. The resort consists of three unique courses, including the Marina Course and the Mission Course, designed by golf greats Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus. Each course offers views of the Sea of Cortez from 70% of the tee boxes and is set atop rolling desert foothills for a truly special round of golf.

For what it’s worth – There are two comfort stations every 9 holes with food and drinks, ensuring I was never too far from my next taco or margarita :)

Diamante Golf Club (Dunes)

Diamante Golf Club (Dunes) is a world-class golf course located in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico featured in the ‘Top 100 Courses in the World.’ The 18-hole, par-71 layout is designed by Davis Love III and features rolling dunes, expansive waste bunkers, and views of the Pacific Ocean. These features, combined with pristine course conditions, make Diamante one of the most visually stunning golf courses in Mexico. The club offers a range of facilities to enhance the golfing experience, including a clubhouse, pro shop, and dining options. Whether you are a seasoned golfer or a beginner, you will be amazed by the beautiful design of this course. I consider Diamante a must-visit for golf enthusiasts seeking an unparalleled golfing experience in Cabo San Lucas.
